440 Gallery is proud to present, Burnt Offerings, an installation of hundreds of connected, small paper squares, suspended from the gallery's ceiling. Amy Weil's hanging installation creates a floating, ethereal grid that plays with light and shadow. The artist will also be showing her signature encaustic grid paintings, as well as whimsical paper wall sculptures.

440 Gallery proudly announces the 2021 Summer Theme Exhibition, “Patterns,” featuring twenty-nine artists selected from a national call-for- art. This show of twenty-eight multi-media works is a collection of contemporary art with the subject of pattern in both everyday and special situations interpreted by each artist.

The exhibition will consist of nine of the artist's vibrant shaped new works, in his fifth solo show at 440 Gallery. 440 Gallery is pleased to present Impressions, a solo exhibition of digital art by Leigh Blanchard. Impressions demonstrates Blanchard’s exploration of the art of scanography, which is the process of using flatbed scanner technology to create printable, digital art.

440 Gallery is pleased to present New Color Work, a series of photographs by David Stock.

440 Gallery is pleased to present The Great Mystery, new work by Ellen Chuse. For this exhibition, Chuse made acrylic paintings on paper that explore totemic female figures, particularly Venus and Athena. These generously sized, unframed, bold compositions resonate with female energies of fertility, abundance, and strength.

Janet Pedersen’s indomitable spirit is reflected in her choice of theme for these works: the joyful exploration of dance. Restricting her own body’s movements in the interest of recovery, she turned her attention to the human body’s potential for movement.

440 Gallery presents Harmonies, an exhibition of mixed-media prints by veteran printmaker Gail Flanery. For this show she has included pieces that show different phases of the growth and development in her expansive career.
