Please join us for an afternoon of inspiring music as Park Slope native Liz Hogg returns to the gallery for a performance of classical guitar. Celebrating her recent debut album “Presenting Liz Hogg” on Albany Records, Liz will perform works that range from the 1700s to contemporary times. Her program will highlight how classical guitar has developed and changed throughout the centuries to expand into a distinctive art form in its own right. The program will include works by Darr, Regondi, Matiegka, J.S. Bach, Villa-Lobos and more. We’re looking forward to brightening up this February afternoon with music meets art. A contribution of $10 is suggested.
