There are many joyous reasons to celebrate the personal, touching artwork that Shanee Epstein is showing in the gallery with her show “Family.” The closing party for the show is on Sunday, November 17 and will be filled with Art / Wine / Food / Music. Adding to this atmosphere will be the sounds of Moshe Weidenfeld, performing original compositions written for “Family.” Moshe comes out of a musical family via Massapequa and Amherst where he studied with musical greats such as Archie Shepp and Max Roach. For over 25 years, Moshe has been teaching in the NYC school system, all while performing with diverse artists such as Pete Seeger, Tito Puente and Andy Statman. We’re looking forward to hearing the music of Moshe that’s been influenced by Shanee’s artwork. Also closing on Sunday is “Lost in Nature” a Project Space exhibit of work by Ellen Chuse, Susan Greenstein and Doris Rodriguez.
