29 Questions: Hillary Rollins and Jim Patrick

440 Gallery is proud to host a reading of 29 Questions by Hillary Rollins, from the Nantucket Short Play Anthologies. An ode to life, love, and friendship, 29 Questions is a story about how an internet time-suck becomes a way to discover little-known facts about friends. This two-woman performance is powerful and touching, yet softened with moments of gentle introspection.

Playwright Hillary Rollins is a native New Yorker transplanted to Santa Monica, California. 29 Questions was the 2008 winner of the Nantucket Short Play Competition and Festival. The play was originally produced in 2004 at Yaffa’s T Room in New York.

Jim Patrick co-founded the Nantucket Short Play Competition and Festival in 1992. Involved in the presentation of over 250 original works, Jim has compiled the Nantucket Short Play Anthologies to celebrate the festival’s 25th Anniversary.  Jim’s own plays have been produced in New York, Ohio, Florida, Scotland, and of course, Nantucket.  He has also written two Nantucket bestsellers, Nantucket Love Stories and Scallop Season: A Nantucket Chronicle.
