Poetry at 440

Join us for a poetry reading of young talent in Brooklyn! Krystal Zayas, Wizdom and Nathan Dennis recite new works for this special event showcasing up and coming talent.

Krystal Ann Zayas is a 21 year-old dancer, singer, poet and creative writer with a kind and genuine heart. Zayas started writing as a young girl and found inspiration in her family, in particular, her grandfather. Through her grandfather, she learned how to love unconditionally. Zayas entered a poetry competition on Poetry Nation.com and was selected as a finalist for “A Love That's Lost”.  It is included in the anthology Where The Mind Dwells by Eber & Wein Publishing.

Wizdom is a graduate of Kingsborough Community College and a proud member of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and the National Society of Leadership and Success. Wizdom has been writing poems and short stories since the age of seven.  Her reason for writing is to motivate and inspire everyone.

Nathan Dennis is a playwright and poet of Floridian extraction. Born into a Navy Family, he draws inspiration from the near-legendary places he has passed through -- from the Gilded Age mansions of Newport, to the archaic ruins of Sicily, to the mighty fortresses of Malta. He is currently the Publisher and Editor of Unscooped Bagel, an online literary journal.
