Born and raised Iin Brooklyn, I received a B.A. in English from NYU Heights, and an M.A. in Special Eduction from Teachers College, Columbia University. I taught in the New York City Public Schools, and gradually changed my career to Information Technology. I worked as a Technical Writer consultant in industry for many years, before returning to the New York City Board of Education as a Technical Writer/Computer Specialist.
I began writing poetry in high school, and have continued to do so to the present day. My poetry has appeared in small journals, such as Euterpe and Three Mile Harbor. Two of my poems have appeared in Howard Schatz’s excellent books, The Lost Word of God and The Science of Religion, both of which are available from Amazon. My poetry ranges from subjects such as love, war, nature, city life, and a celebration of the Imagination, to light verse and prose poems.
It is a great honor for me to have a featured reading at such a distinguished venue as 440 Gallery, and I hope to see you there.
