Draw & collage your favorite New York City place with 440 Gallery artists

If you could add something to your favorite place to make it special—just like Vicki did with her art show of 1,000 drawings—what would you choose to show? King Kong swatting flies on the Empire State Building? Your dog or cat riding the Coney Island Wonder Wheel? A bigger bedroom sitting on your head? Batman at the Karate School?

At our workshop, you’ll be inspired by lots of drawings from Vicki’s show while you make art of your favorite place. We will provide the same paper, pens, colored pencils and collage materials that Vicki used for her artwork so that you can create a piece that makes a unique statement about what you like and see in New York City.

Join us on Sunday, the day before Halloween, for a fun, creative time with lots of inspiration and ideas from our two resident teaching artists Vicki Behm and Susan Greenstein. Vicki thinks she knows what Susan’s favorite place is!
