Juliet Martin creates tapestries by combining hand-woven and machine-made fabric, hand spun and store bought yarn, acrylic paint, glitter, plus illustrations printed on cloth. Autobiographically driven, components are stitched together to portray anxieties. These fiber memoirs may not always be real, but they are always true. She lives and weaves in Brooklyn.
