Amy Williams was born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1977. She attended art school at the University of Texas at Austin and has lived in Los Angeles and New York. Amy currently lives in Brooklyn, dividing her time between her house in upstate New York and the City. Some of her photographic influences include Emmett Gowan, Sally Mann, Cindy Sherman and Stanley Greenberg.
